Although Twitter fans only managed to unlock one photo from "Save Yourself" on Sunday, more blood filled photos from the upcoming episode 12 managed to hit the web. One photo shows that Eric finally met up with Sookie Eric is covered in blood even in his precious hair , and Sookie looks like she has tears rolling down her face. A second photo shows the always fabulous Pam locked up inside the Vampire Authority.
Luckily for Pam though, she has her good ol' buddy Jessica in the cell right next to her. As for what's going on with Bill, no new photos show him with Sam Merlotte whose life is in some serious danger right now , but he does have a very serious looking army gathered in front of him. Then, she told Alcide what had happened: JD called an emergency meeting. The pack showed up, and they were all held down as vampire blood was poured into their mouths.
Okay, now JD really needs to die. He had better quality. People wanted him dead over the years, so he apparently always has some V on hand. I was even thinking Arlene might die for choosing margaritas over getting home safely before dark. Andy walked in with Maurella. Before he talked to Holly, Maurella asked him to hand her some salt, which she proceeded to down in a steady stream.
Bill and Salome awoke and again, we got another fake-out as Bill pinned her to the bed when she made a move to get up. Could he finally be offing her? No, he just wanted to have sex with her again. He must be for real, I decided. Sookie and Jason were driving now and having their own heart-to-cold heart. Ghost dad agreed — vampires made them orphans, learn from it. Sookie and Jason agreed to disagree. Sookie asked Jason how his head was and felt that he had a bump as big as a walnut.
I suddenly thought of Natasha Richardson. Arlene assumed she was an alien giving birth. It was a girl. And wait, there was another one…. He took her out of her cage, and begged her not to shift. And not when he kept looking at the fly in the elevator after Roslyn caught up with him and told him she needed him on damage control now.
I thought that was strange — how did he hear about the shifter security breach? In the woods, JD had a vampire hanging by a silver noose, slit his wrist, and told the pack drinks were on him. The pack knelt before Alcide, and he told them the V would stop that night. So those Comic-Con stickers are worth something after all! Roslyn had Newlin going on live TV to refute the mass murder charges against him for the frat spree and claim the video showing him and Russell entering the house was fabricated.
He sucked at reading the teleprompter, but again, I just thought he was scared. Luna was able to get out that vampires were keeping humans captive and feeding on them in an underground compound somewhere in New Orleans before Roslyn kicked the camera over.
He was covered in bloody goo as Luna fainted with puppy Emma in her arms. Sookie and Co. Great splatter. Team Eric had taken out the surveillance cams. As Jason stayed behind the reception desk to keep watch and kill more vamps, the others went on. Eric and Nora launched an aerial stake assault against a room of vamp guards. The look of Nora flying and speed-tossing stakes was a little on the cheesy side, but forgivable. How sick is it that hearing Eric and Nora banter like that I totally wanted to see them have sex again?
Tara rushed in, and she and Pam kissed — slow and passionate. Eric says Bill had come up with the idea for the Tru Blood factory bombings, and he's going to lose himself completely if they don't get him out of there.
Jason doesn't want Sookie to go, but his imaginary father plants the idea that Jason could kill a heck of a lot vampires on this mission, so Jason says he's going as well. At Authority headquarters, a naked, bound and gagged Sam is brought to Bill as a snack.
Sam pleads his case to Bill, saying he only wants to bring his girlfriend's daughter home, but Bill says that Sam has heard too much. As Bill bares his fangs, Sam shifts into an insect and escapes. It's like Harry Potter and his Expelliarmus charm.
Salome finds Bill and asks him what happened to Kibwe. Bill confesses that he killed the chancellor after Kibwe claimed Lilith chose him to lead. Bill says that Lilith appeared to him -- Salome looks perturbed at this -- but that Lilith told him Salome was the chosen one, "a prophet for the new age. Sookie and Jason stop off at the local gun shop to stock up on anti-vamp gear, and Jason, egged on his parents, tell Sookie that the time for tolerance is over.
He'll even kill Bill if he has to. Back in his truck, Jason wonders whether they both always fall for the unavailable because they think they don't deserve anything better. Deep thoughts with Jason Stackhouse. Then Eric pops up in the window and tells them to pull over. To get back into headquarters, Eric and Nora take the front seat of Jason's truck and bind and gag Sookie, Jason and Tara in the back.
They all make it into the elevator, and when the doors open, Jason, in full commando mode, kills Chelsea the receptionist. Eric and Nora are hiding in the chancellor's chambers as a platoon of stormtroopers rush in, and they easily dispatch all of them while Tara and Sookie head to the cellblock to find Jessica and Pam.
As Tara lets Pam out of her cell, they share a passionate kiss. When Jessica finds Jason, she throws her arms around him and tells him she loves him. But Jason brusquely tells her he can never love a vampire. Bill finds Salome in her chamber about to drink Lilith's blood. She tells Bill that she knows he wanted to be the chosen one, but Lilith wanted the strongest. Bill warns her that she doesn't know what drinking all of the blood will do to her, but Salome doesn't care.
The next thing we see, she's moaning on the floor, and Bill is triumphant. He had replaced Lilith's blood with regular blood dosed with silver, he tells Salome. Salome's "monumental narcissism" and impatience led her to underestimate her enemies. He stakes her. A true believer to her last moment, Salome says, "Lilith chose wisely," and bursts into goo. Bill is about to drink the real vial of Salome's blood when Eric and Sookie show up. She says this isn't who he really is, but Bill tells her she doesn't know anything about him, that maybe he's been playing her the entire time he's known her.
He's spent his vampire lifetime apologizing for what he is, thinking he was damned. He drinks the blood and begins bleeding out of every orifice.
